FROM THE HEADER EXHAUST PIPE
As most of you know, I have stepped down as your club president. I have enjoyed the past years as your president and I felt it was time for another cruiser to step up. This club is going on its 17th year of existance and I’m proud to have been your president for ten of those. I don’t have any regrets and it’s my belief that the club is in good hands and is headed in the right direction. The club has a new president along with some new officers. Some are from the last year. I’ve worked very hard to get the club to where it is today, and it’s my wish that it will grow even further. This club has made a name for itself and this is a good thing. I’m glad to be a part of it. I’m not leaving the club; I am just stepping down. I want to try and enjoy the up-coming car shows - more now that I’m no longer your club president. I have enjoyed them before, but being president puts a limit on what you can do at the shows. I’ve made a lot of new friends over the past years, and have seen some of my old friends move on to that great “cruise-in drive” in the sky. All in all, I have really enjoyed the ride and I thank you for believing in me for all these years. I will see you next year at the shows. I will be going to a lot of them because I want to win the “Cruiser of the Year” award. Again, I thank all of you for your belief that I could be your president for that many years. That says a lot to an old cruiser like me. Have a safe and happy new year and I will see you around.
2008 Club President...Paul Bedics
FROM THE OLD CRUISER
I want everyone to know that it’s an honor to be elected as your new club president for 2009. I also want to thank all of you that came out to Ponderosa in Wabash for the Christmas/club meeting and cast your vote for the ones you wanted. I believe that everyone had a good time and enjoyed the meal. I know that I did. I know that a lot of us hated to see Paul step down as club president, but I know how he feels. Now he can cruise, enjoy himself and the shows, talk to his friends longer, and not have to worry about the car shows. Just have a good time, Paul. According to the club’s by-laws, we are to have a meeting once every month. We plan to meet once a month at different locations - restaurants, car shows, and various car events. The club officers and the board members are open to suggestions to help improve the running of this club. Please invite your friends to cruise-in with you to these meetings. Make your suggestions and show the ones you invited how to have a good time. Invite them to join the club as well. We are planning to have games at these meetings. The first meeting will be held this January 10th (weather permitting). At this meeting, we will review the club’s by-laws, and make any revisions essential to the club. I would like to see everyone there to help with these revisions. If for some reason you don’t make it to the meetings, you’ll miss out on all the fun. If the weather allows, bring your car; otherwise, bring yourself, family and friends. I’m going to try to be an upstanding president for this club, and with the officer’s and your support, I believe this will happen. I hope to see you at the meetings.
2009 Club President...Jess Gressley

WARNING!!!
There have been several letters in the mail asking for information about the Rebel Rouser’s Car Club’s financial status such as taxes, savings, and other money. These letters have been sent to the club’s president and the secretary. If you have received a letter asking for information, PLEASE notify the club’s president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, or a board member. They will see to it that it will be handled. These letters are a SCAM and are very questionable. With your help we can put a stop to them.
